This week's Strictly has a hard act to follow but with the 'funster dance' and a new judge in the ballroom, Alan Dudman is confident that we'll see more thrills on the floor. Hopefully that won't involve any 'crotch-thrusting'...

What a dramatic week we've just had on Strictly. A top score of the series for Jason Donovan, a wardrobe malfunction for poor Chelsee, complaints over Robbie Savage and rumours of tantrums and rows. And what with it being the Halloween special, there were plenty of bets landed on the over 2.5 ghouls market.

I also need to mention one of the best routines (for me) of the series so far. Artem and Holly's beautiful American Smooth danced to Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, one of the most exquisite dances you will ever see. It finally made
her the contender to win it, but the Aussie's price has barely budged, and she can be backed still at around [9.0].

For Saturday's show we'll be seeing a new judge. Len has taken a one-week break, and the ballroom aficionado will be replaced by the stunning Jennifer Grey, the ex-Dirty Dancing star. I wonder if she still has those electric moves?

Week six will also be the first opportunity to view the 'funster' dance. The Charleston will be unleashed, and quite an informative one, as this was the routine that shifted the seemingly talentless Chris Hollins to potential winner after
his cheeky number with Ola a couple of years ago.

The highest scorer market will be tough this week: Jason [2.10], Harry [3.20], Chelsee [5.60] and Holly [7.80] will all be major players, and Donovan's rumba has looked excellent in training this week. The actor is pure theatre and looks
a natural dancer, his quickstep last week was highly technical.

Harry tackles the samba to a Stevie Wonder song, whilst Holly has got the speedy and tough jive, and she's off the back of a 35 pointer. However, I'm going to take a chance on Chelsee once again to crack her second top marks of the series. She was brilliant a couple of weeks ago, and can nail the Charleston this Saturday. It should really suit her style, it needs to be fun and the couple need to match with each other - something that is looking good in training. They're a great pairing, and the chemistry should hopefully net around 36 points.

Meanwhile Robbie has been the subject of 267 complaints following his 'crotch thrusting' antics last weekend, and I must admit it was all rather unnecessary. I thought he was a potential player in the big scores, but for two weeks he's not quite
got to grips with the Latin. He is back in the ballroom this week, and he can get a decent score. Len called him a 'ballroom boy', which I suppose is better than the abuse he received for years on the football pitch. He needs to forget about all those gimmicks and just dance, he can still get a 32 plus.

For those interested in the score markets, the standard is much higher (as expected) to match the judges who tend to vote more generously as the series develops. With Jason, Holly, Chelsee and Harry still getting better, perfect 10's should be attainable, as will be the 36-37 and 38 markets.

Meanwhile poor old Audley is trading at [1.60] for the fifth elimination, with lucky Lulu at [4.60]. The 'A' force has done remarkably well to last this long, and his beaming smile is infectious. There's even talk in the press of a potential boxing comeback and a crack at upcoming heavyweights Tyson Fury and David Price. He won't be [1.60] in either of those bouts, trust me.

And how about the even older Lulu? I said she was 'lucky' earlier, as her flying entrance and exit masked a pretty ropey paso doble. She's a bit wobbly in her posture still, and she reverts to ballroom and tango this week. Judges like this discipline to be in hold, something her wobbliness is struggling with, and she is still vulnerable if Harrison can scrape another week.

I wonder where Jennifer Grey will sit on the judges table? As no one puts baby in a corner.

Week Six Recommended Bets
Back Chelsee @ [5.6] to be highest scorer
Back Lulu @ [3.00] to be lowest scorer
Back yes @ [1.40] for a Perfect Ten
