Harry can already claim to be one of Strictly's best ever dancers

"Harry's brilliant Argentine tango was the dance of the series so far."

The two young guns are really beginning to turn it on and Alan Dudman can seem them dominating the scoreboard once more this weekend...

It's a Wembley special this weekend, as the eight remaining contestants fight for their lives at the north London arena and dance in front of a studio audience of 6,000. The dancefloor is five times the size of the normal BBC venue, and it's now serious competition time.

The problem this week is the market is saying something completely different to the dances. Anita Dobson is the favourite to go at [2.42], but she is one of the better performers. Russell Grant is the worst, but is still hanging on in there. The astrologer is 2011's John Sargeant, only better and more fun. But there comes a time when the fun has to stop, and I wonder how much further he can go?

But first Anita, who danced an excellent 33 point Argentine tango last Saturday. It's a harder routine for a woman because of the leg flicks, but she managed it perfectly. She got the mood and she can certainly tango. Her scores over the past month have been 33, 31, 31 and 32. She should be a contender, instead the layers want to get her. Hubby Brian May won't be happy. Mind you, nor would I be with that hair.

She shouldn't have been in the bottom two last week if judged on talent, but I do worry where the voters are. Maybe they got complacent seven days ago and will come out in force this weekend? Anita has the samba but is alarmingly [1.2] to be in the danger zone.

The two outstanding dancers in the competition right now are Harry Judd and Chelsee Healey. The McFly drummer (that's Harry) produced a brilliant Argentine tango, which for me was the dance of the series so far. I don't agree with judge Len on the lack of intensity, and he hit a couple of 10s in a 37 point routine. Chelsee is not far behind after her 36 point foxtrot - showing once again she is equally effective in ballroom or Latin.

I am not a lover of odds-on prices, but Chelsee in the top female market trades at [1.49], and she really only has to beat Alex Jones. Whilst Harry is [1.63] for top male, and has only got to beat Jason. I think they are two outstanding bets despite the prices.

Harry has the salsa on Saturday, a dance that exposes weaknesses. Luckily he hasn't got any, and his chemistry with the ultra-hot Aliona is electric. Healey dances the samba, the Brazilian party dance, a routine that promises loads of content and should be good. Her fast pace dances of the Charleston and salsa have both netted 36 points, and she has improved, so I expect a 37.

Holly has the quickstep, which in training seems to have a bit of Charleston. Her replacement partner Brendan might be on duty again if Artem is not fit enough. Robbie Savage will struggle as he is back in Latin, he lacks the finesse and steps to be a success in that discipline, and I'm not sure he will break the 30 mark for his salsa. Whilst Jason Donovan will be flicking and kicking the jive, a dance that is mighty hard to nail top marks. Nothing will beat Jill Halfpenny's jive a few years ago.

Alex Jones has had three good weeks and tackles the tango, but she is just short of the top dancers. And finally the lovable Russell has the jive, a pretty tough dance for him. He has promised a big entrance, but with his voters and gold suits, might just avoid a big exit.

The bottom two combo market will have to be avoided this week, as Anita could be with anyone. On dancing, Robbie should be there, but his elimination price of [9.2] to be eliminated, the power of his twitter voters must be pretty strong. Holly could be a surprise in with Anita, but it's a market fraught with peril this Saturday.

Recommended Bets
Lay Jason Donovan in highest scorer @ [3.0]
Back Chelsee @ [4.0] and Harry @ [3.0] split stakes in top scorer
Back Anita in seventh elimination market @ [2.4]
Back Harry as top male @ [1.63]
