Ex-goalie is odds-on favourite to leave Strictly this weekend...
Ex-England goalkeeper Peter Shilton looks set to be shown a red card on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend after he was installed as the 13-8 odds-on favourite on Betfair to leave the dance contest.
Shilton is favoured for the boot ahead of veteran magician Paul Daniels. The 72-year-old can be backed at [3.25] to be the second person eliminated from the show. Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams is surprisingly third in the betting at [10.0].
Betfair's Alex Bake said: "Shilton was known in the game for his safe hands but, when it comes to dancing, he's got two left feet. He was lucky to scrape through last week and looks set to pay the penalty on Sunday."
Meanwhile, former Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker is the current [3.0] favourite to foxtrot his way to the Strictly Come Dancing title. The 32-year-old has emerged as the front runner to win the series since his first performance two weeks ago.
