With the big reveal on who killed Lucy Beale in Eastenders just a day away, our traders have slashed the price on Grant Mitchell being the culprit after bets came in for the long departed character...
"Grant has been heavily backed at 5/4 to make an appearance during the live episodes and now the odds of him to be revealed as the killer have been cut from 33/1 to 12/1 in a matter of hours."
Grant, the other half of the most infamous double act in TV history, has been cut from 33/1 to 12/1 to be revealed as Lucy's killer.
The move comes after we suspended the betting on Grant to appear in an anniversary episode of EastEnders this week.
Could the whole thing really have been down to a character that is no longer a regular in the show? Some punters seem to think it a possibility...
Billy is 7/1 and Phil is now 33/1, both been tipped as prime suspects in the Lucy Beale Whodunnit saga over the past 10 tension-filled months, but the most popular bets since last night's show have been for Jane Beale (4/1) and Abi Branning (9/2).
Betfair Novelties and Politics Trader at Betfair, Cormac Dowling, said: "Grant has been heavily backed at 5/4 to make an appearance during the live episodes and now the odds of him to be revealed as the killer have been cut from 33/1 to 12/1 in a matter of hours after a punter requested a price on him, as if there aren't enough Mitchells already in the frame."
