Willie Carson is odds-on to leave the jungle

"Willie is favourite to go on Thursday at [1.75] against Fatima's [3.6], a good opportunity for layers. I thought Carson had a great night, as did Fatima"

Dive-bomb Willie is odds-on to leave IACGMOOH tonight but he had a great show on Wednesday night and he might just surprise us all, says Alan Dudman

Who would have thought a night with Peter Andre could get so interesting? Well Wednesday was just that, as the great Aussie singer, sorry I meant grating Aussie singer, arrived in the jungle as a treat for the celebs. My treat was when he left four hours later.

But wow, what a sensational show.

Firstly shock of shocks, Mark Wright was in the bottom two (otherwise known as the 'might be') for the seventh elimination, the first time he has appeared in the deadly duo. Although he survived and Crissy Rock was finally eliminated, the markets have got spicier than one of Antony Cotton's wallaby stews.

Wright is drifting. I said yesterday that something catastrophic would have to happen for him not to win, although I am not sure what the catastrophe is, he's gone out to [1.85], having been matched at [1.35] for a small amount. It's a fairly seismic shift and Dougie Poynter [4.6] and Antony [7.0] are still in the ball game. We might just have a real competition on our hands, folks.

Wednesday's was a brilliant programme, as Willie kept the grudge going from the treason task. It was also Dougie's birthday, and he was picked for the bushtucker trial entitled 'Round The Clock'. Poynter enquired what it might be, unbelievably it involved
the bassist turning round on a clock collecting stars, of which he gained all six.

The group then had to guess six songs, one of which was 'Mysterious Girl' from Peter Andre. And from that point I knew my fate. Andre was camp bound. Fatima Whitbread then drooled over the perma-tanned ex-jungle man and star of some programme, possibly programmes, I never watch. He then boringly recounted his time in camp meeting Katie Price, with Willie asking if he connected with her.

The next task involved Dougie trying to spell idiotic, one he failed when he started with an 'A'. Brains were at a premium as Andre thought Kathmandu was in the Antartic. Nonetheless success was achieved and the boys got a reward of spending a night in a hot tub drinking champagne with Peter Andre. That was all for Dougie's 25th birthday. All I got was a Nik Kershaw LP.

Willie was in the jacuzzi, and being so small he could probably swim some widths. To think, he was spending the previous night in a dungeon with Crissy. Mind you, sounds more tempting than with 'Insania' boy. It was all rip-roaring stuff though, with Wright
completely out of shot. Has the tide turned? Poynter is a realistic runner at [4.6] to win it, as Wednesday was very much his breakthrough day. He then smashed up a guitar to top it all off.

It's a night that has kept a fair few of the ante-post bets alive, namely with Antony and laying against Mark. Willie is favourite to go on Thursday at [1.6] against Fatima's [2.76], a good opportunity for layers. I thought Carson had a great night, as did Fatima who
is still drooling over Andre - who left as quick as he came - mirroring his musical career.

And my finest moment, Willie Carson dive bombing in the hot tub. Wonderful stuff.

Recommended Bet
Lay Willie Carson at [1.75] or shorter for the eighth elimination.
