Is Fatima's time at an end?
"I wonder if Fatima's time could be up? Whitbread was a 'might be' yesterday, let's hope it's a 'see ya' on Wednesday."
The drama goes on in the jungle where the celebrities are being turfed out with alarming regularity - could it be Fatima's turn to bid farewell to her fellow campers?
What an episode on Tuesday night! Little Willie Carson went ballistic, Mark Wright got Excalibur out, Crissy Rock wore a swimsuit, and Antony Cotton cried having been caught in the treason trial. Our latest exit was Aussie model Emily Scott, who traded at around [2.9] pre-elimination, leaving us down to six contestants for the jungle crown.
Having seen Crissy do virtually nothing over the past seven days, the actress and comedian finally had something to do - her first bushtucker trial. Her and Willie got in the 'mystery box' and identified a series of ants, crickets and cockroaches. Not the hardest task, but I just love watching Carson flick insects. More of this on TV please.
Rock is [70.0] to win it, Willie is currently [18.0] and Fatima Whitbread trades at [17.0], but they are still some way behind our Essex boy Mark, who eased a touch on Tuesday evening having moved out to [1.53]. Not the biggest drifter in the world granted.
Some would say un-reem.
Crissy plus swimsuit - most un-reem.
Dougie Poynter is sneaking around with aplomb, and he's [6.2] in the winner odds having had quite a good week so far. The bassist was a success in his treason task, aided by Antony who was on a going day. When Cotton is on happy mode,
it's hashtag amazeballs.
However, those two joining forces created a rift between themselves and little Willie - who had to spend the night in the dungeon with Rock. The latter wanted out early, and the Scot proceeded to reduce Antony to tears by calling the two traitors: "little bastards". There could be an interesting evening ahead on Wednesday, and I wonder which side the viewers will vote for?
Willie has been going well, I hope the row hasn't scuppered his chances. The Scot may have shown his angrier side (and it was warranted), but there was something sweet about the way he was tucked in that little blanket in the cavern, with those tiny shoes at his side. His constant reminder of 'dirty tricks, dirty tricks' might create some fireworks with Cotton.
Meanwhile Mark will be alone now his love interest Emily has been kicked out. He turned his attentions to Dougie and called him his best friend (having called Antony his best friend last week). He quoted something I have never heard before - a DMC. Apparently it's a deep and meaningful chat in Essex in speak.
Wright featured once again in the celebrity chest, this time plucking out Excalibur from the ice, or how he described it: "wiggle it about in some sort of gap." I am sure King Arthur and Leontes will be delighted with that. However he is still the king in all markets.
The seventh elimination might see me perform a U-turn concerning Crissy. She is [1.91] in the seventh elimination odds, and might just be a potential lay. The bottom two on Tuesday were very close according to Ant and Dec, and I wonder if Fatima's time could be up? Whitbread was a 'might be' yesterday, let's hope it's a 'see ya' on Wednesday.
