IACGMOOH Update: Santos to be relegated

Bye-bye, Aggro

We're nearing the end of the show and it's time for the no-hopers to make their exits - starting with Aggro Santos

We're in the jungle home straight now but sadly the I'm A Celebrity winner market has plunged into a desperate state of predictability.

Fair play to Stacey Solomon - she's literally not put a foot wrong in the entire series - but her brilliance means she is just [1.24] to win the show and leaves very little room for manoeuvre. If we've learnt anything from past IACGMOOH series, it's that short-priced favourites almost always win (think Joe Swash and Gino D'Acampo in recent years), so who are we to doubt the market this time around? I've certainly seen worse 1/5 shots.

Last week we mentioned that the only serious opposition to her was Shaun Ryder ([7.2]) - but the exit of Gillian McKeith has taken away his main source of entertainment. When he's miserable and moaning at people he's worth backing - but when he's miserable and brooding on his bed he's no competition for Stacey. Elsewhere, Dom Joly ([60.0]) was as short as [5.1] at one point but blew his chance when petulantly refusing to spend the night in jungle hell.

This all means that punters must again turn to the next elimination markets for any sort of value. Stacey and Shaun are shoo-ins for the final while I think Dom can redeem his popularity with some more ill advised banter towards Kayla, whose bitchiness is now really coming out. But the most irrelevant celeb remaining is surely Mr. Aggro Santos - who got all the way to number 5 in charts this year, don't you know. His new afro is bigger than his personality and looks value at [2.24] to go next - I'd back him to be out by Thursday night at the latest.
