Practice makes not-so-perfect for DOI star Rosemary Conley

"She will surely be on earlier this weekend and with seemingly no potential for improvement, Rosemary looks worth a bet even at a projected price of around [1.7] in the Sixth Elimination market."

Do you know what Rosemary scored last week? Simon Hopper is more than happy to tell you, several times in fact, but he's not letting the fact that she's boring put him off backing her again this week.

SURELY Rosemary Conley's time is up this weekend. Surely.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the diet and fitness guru. There's no doubt that she is a very cordial person and moves around the ice with a certain elegance and serenity.

But it's boring! Last week her performance of Fairground Attraction's "Perfect" was so safe it was painful. She was on course for the lowest score of the night until an inexplicable score of 7 came in from Katarina. A 7! She only gave Matthew Wolfenden a 6.5! Unbelievable. Louie and Robin were far more on the ball with scores of 4.5 and 5.5 respectively.

Rosemary also had the advantage of performing second last on Sunday; given the skate-off was contested between the second and third skaters on the night, there is some evidence that a later performance slot leads to more votes.

She will surely be on earlier this weekend and with seemingly no potential for improvement, Rosemary looks worth a bet even at a projected price of around [1.7] in this week's Six Elimination market.

The biggest danger to our selection will be Sam Nixon (at around [4.0]), who was in the skate-off for the first time last week. However, the children's TV presenter has got higher scores from every judge in every round of the competition so far, with the exception of Katarina last Sunday (seriously, she gave Rosemary a 7?!). This means that he would be likely to win a skate-off against Rosemary, while there's also the 'bounce back' factor to consider after he was in the danger zone last time out.

Any punters looking for a bigger price selection could do a lot worse than Heidi Range, who should trade at about [11.0] on the night. The Sugababes star has been slipping down the leaderboard every week and came in for some criticism from all three judges last Sunday. She was in the bottom two on the opening weekend so she can't have a massive support base and another poor showing this weekend could land her in trouble.

Recommended Bets:

Rosemary Conley to be eliminated @ [1.7]
Heidi Range to be eliminated @ [11.0]
