Jim Davidson has gone from zero to hero in the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother says Claire Taylor, and in Wednesday night's final she can't see any way in which the now popular comedian won't be crowned champion...
"Davidson seems to have the show sewn up, a strong favourite at 1.261/4 to win outright; in the eyes of the public he can do no wrong now."
We have made the final night of Celebrity Big Brother 2014, and what a series it has been! Lee Ryan became the sixth evictee on Sunday night's show, polling the fewest votes with the public now voting for their overall winner.
Competing to be crowned king or queen of the house this year we have Jim Davidson, Casey Batchelor (odds to win in Betting w/o Jim Davidson market - 17.016/1), Dappy (1.855/6), Sam Faiers (16.015/1), Luisa Zissman (3.65), and Ollie Locke (3.711/4).

Handcuffed to Linda Nolan, and strongly unfancied on the opening night, he went from zero to hero in a number of days. The comedian has shown he has a vulnerable yet loving side since entering the house, forming a strong friendship with Dappy and often being the shoulder to cry on for his fellow celebrity housemates. No matter what he does between now and Emma Willis announcing the winner, the show has already been won by Jim, he cannot lose from here.
Aside from Jim changing public opinion of himself, we have seen a softer and kinder side of self confessed bad boy Dappy. The former N-Dubz wild child has also been on his very own 'journey' since entering the Big Brother house, and he has gained many new fans. He can count himself quite unlucky to not really be in with a fighting chance for the winner title.
The argumentative yet strangely loveable Luisa Zissman has earned her place in the final, for me personally, without her rows and strong unhinged opinions, I don't think the series would have been the same. I don't see her being popular enough with viewers however to bag a top three place simply because the others have much stronger pre-show fanbases.
Casey Batchelor should finish sixth. Aside from her love triangle with Lee Ryan, I can't think of anything remotely positive to say about her. If Lee had never been in the house, I do wonder if she would have been evicted way before finals night. (I suspect so).
Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers, did look for a short while like they were going to strike up more than a friendship. Had a romance developed between the pair, I think both would have had more chance of winning on Wednesday night, however, both have been fairly quiet and non existent.
I expected more from both reality TV stars, but saying that, Ollie has provided a few glimpses of entertainment, and he may well finish inside the top three, in fact he's my pick to finish runner-up behind Jim. Nice guys tend to do well, and Ollie is an all round nice guy.
Betting w/o Jim Davidson - Back Ollie Locke @ 3.711/4
1-2 Forecast - Back 1st Jim, 2nd Ollie @ 3.814/5
