"My choice of winner would now be JJ. He has something of the Anthony Series 6 conqueror about him. Good looking, peripheral, dancer – JJ ticks all the boxes."

Like lisping Roy Hodgson electing to manage a team with a spine of 'Reina', 'Carragher', 'Gerrard,' and 'Torres,' some people simply don't help themselves. Quite simply, it hasn't been a great week for any of our housemates. As viewing figures continue to plummet like a child on a slide, I'm starting to feel a bit like Will Smith in I am Legend. I really am watching this, purely so that you don't have to.

The one exception may well be Corin, who has cashed in on Josie's love life by providing a willing ear for the Bristolian milkmate to babble into. She has transformed herself from 'hag' to 'fag hag.' Gormless voters love that whole best-friend-willing-listener shtick (it reminds them of Loose Women I guess), and so it's no surprise the Jordanalike is in to [3.3].

The two in behind remain steady. Josie is still popular, but now that she has her claws sunk deep, deep into her man, her love is no longer unrequited, which in turn, makes her a slightly less sympathetic character. Much now depends on what kind of couple the pair make - apparently they've already been bickering. Oh no!

My choice of winner would now be JJ. He has something of the Anthony Series 6 conqueror about him. Good looking, peripheral, dancer - JJ ticks all the boxes.

Geek-boy Andrew remains steady at [9.6] - the last man in the four-horse race, yet he has started to show a rather aggressive/moody side. As we mentioned last week, this is a grave mistake. If you're going to be a nerd, you need to be a lovable one. He still has 'journey' potential though, so definitely remains one to watch. Albeit, it is the sort of journey where one constantly asks hopefully, 'Are we there yet?'

He won't go this week however - Ben has pretty much got this eviction sewn up, now in to [1.41] on Betfair. Once the dark horse to win, now the favourite to go, BB has just got to him and where once he was funny, now he's merely dull. A microcosm of the entire BB project if you like. Even the other housemates are a bit 'meh' about him.

The most startling descent, however, has been Mario - once Ben's chirpy play thing, now very much a woman scorned. He is actually displaying the textbook signs of psychosis such as behaving really weirdly, and growing a moustache.

At least Hodgson had the decency to sell Albert Riera. This lot just keep digging.
