Rex's immunity casts a cloud for another week and Sara is likely to go, say Chicken Dinner.
This was supposed to be the week that posh bully Rex [24.0] was finally expelled, but by winning the Head of House competition he earnt himself immunity from nomination and the chance to cast a cloud over proceedings for another week.
It means Rex and Nicole's [260.0] festival of bickering will drag on, but the obnoxious toff's time in charge could give a further shake to the most unpredictable winners' market in Big Brother history. Rex will take every opportunity available to attack Rachel [4.9], but while the Welsh grape-scoffer may again face eviction, she will earn valuable sympathy and her odds to win may shorten further.
Mikey [3.65] is still favourite, but as he has yet to face the public vote, it is difficult to gauge whether he is as popular as his backers believe. He has received just five nominations all series, but ruffled a few feathers with his water-hurling antics while Head of House. All four previous house masters have faced eviction the following week.
Even if Mikey is up, fellow frontrunners Darnell [4.5] and Kathreya [8.2] look safe, so he will almost certainly survive the vote. Associating himself with the likes of Mario, Luke and Rebecca damaged his chances before, but he has since grown close to Rachel and Kathreya, who are much safer allies. He is often the first to stand up to Rex and risks the ginger chef's wrath by berating Nicole's laziness, which should only serve to make him more popular on the outside.
Darnell still boasts all the qualities (disability, uniqueness, "journey") that make him an attractive bet, but he needs to stop thinking out loud. His endless theories about what's going to happen make him look like too much of a game player. It's not all bad news though. He is still popular on the inside and Rex, who has turned on Rachel and Mohamed [60] in the past, still seems slightly afraid of the albino. Darnell's problem is that one minute he looks like a winner, then out of nowhere he'll flip out at one of his allies and botch everything.
While Kathreya's price is slipping because her weird little act has grown tired, and she showed a more sinister side by flipping out at Mikey after he splashed her with water, she is still fancied as a probable winner inside the house and is unlikely to face eviction.
Lisa [9.8] continues to entertain by spouting random nonsense about aliens, wasps and Mario's spirit visiting in the night, and while she won't win, she is worth looking at in the top female category [4.2] while Kathreya drifts. Lisa's stronger personality could beat Rachel if they both reach the final, but she is quite isolated in the house and may face eviction this week.
The unpopular Mohamed has avoided the public vote for two straight weeks, but Rex and Nicole may turn on him now. If that happens he may regret nominating Rachel last week, something the public are unlikely to forget. However, he should survive as housemates have started latching on to Sara's [60.0] habit of drifting from guy to guy to boost her standing in the house. Three nominations should be enough to get her in front of the public, where she would probably lose to anyone other than Nicole. The housemate more commonly known as Rex's girlfriend is [1.77] to go but Rachel aside, it's hard to see any of Rex's group - Rex, Darnell, Mohamed and Kathreya - nominating her. Darnell did last week but regretted it afterwards.
This week Chickendinner predicts: Darnell to win, Sara to go.
