Angus Watt previews the weekend's Super Rugby and explains why the Jaguares are worth taking on...

In their last game, the Jaguares lost at home to the lowly Force. After a follow-up win for the Aussie side this morning, one could argue that this form has been 'franked'. I'm far from convinced. The Jags were very poor in that game - careless with the ball and disinterested without it.
Despite the return of the often-mercurial Nicolás Sánchez, I'm surprised to see the Jags as four-point favourites. The Brumbies' defence has been excellent lately (conceding just 34 points in the last three games) which should be a cause of concern to Jags' coach, Raul Pérez, given that the Force prevented his side from scoring for the full 80 minutes. The Brumbies come off the back of a good win against an in-form Kings side so I think the value lies with them.

Lions v Kings

The Lions have firmly established themselves as the greatest threat to New Zealand supremacy in this competition. The Kings will not cope with the pace and power of their attack and I fully expect this to be a cricket score.
The Lions' form would certainly support this. They've won nine games in a row and put 50 points on the Bulls last week. With only two changes, this remains a settled side. Their opponents are in form, but are a much better side when playing at home. This could be a rout.
