Hull unlikely to lie down

St Helens vs Hull FC

A resurgent Hull are worth backing in receipt of ten points from the league leaders in Friday's game on Merseyside.

There is a buoyant mood back on the Black and White side of Hull after Easter wins over rivals Hull KR and Wakefield. The injuries the Airlie Birds had to endure in the early rounds are clearing up and they can call upon several key players who were rested on Monday, including captain and top tackler Danny Houghton who will make his 300th appearance for the club. Marc Sneyd continues in scintillating form, kicking an audacious last-gasp drop goal from 50 metres to secure the spoils against Trinity. He scored all the points for Hull when they ran out 8-6 winners on their last visit to St Helens in August and his kicking will be crucial again.

St Helens are setting the pace with a four-point gap at the top of the table, but last month's 28-20 defeat at home to Leeds shows that there are chinks in their armour. This could be a tighter game than the handicap suggests.

Take Sa'u and Clark to score

Salford Red Devils vs Warrington Wolves

We'll have a play on the tryscorer markets in the first of Saturday's games as Warrington visit Salford.

Salford's three wins this year have all come at home and they completed a rare double over Warrington last season, so that makes a bet on the 10 handicap a tricky call.
Super League has a habit of producing fixtures where you can always rely on a certain player being among the points, and that is very much the case with Salford winger Junior Sa'u, who bids for a try in his sixth successive game against the Wolves. With scores against Hull KR and Castleford to his name this season it seems a no-brainer to back the Kiwi anytime at 23/10.

The Wolves made it four wins in a row with a shock 18-6 success in atrocious conditions at Castleford and have turned the corner after a shaky start. Daryl Clark, who scored Warrington's second try on Monday against his former club, is enjoying a tremendous campaign. At 16/5 he's worth a punt to cross the whitewash again.

Wigan to take charge in France

Catalans Dragons vs Wigan Warriors
Saturday 7th April, 17:15 BST
Live on Sky Sports Arena

Second-placed Wigan should have far too much strength for bottom-side Catalans on their trip to France.

Catalans gained only their second win of the year when seeing off a very inexperienced Huddersfield on Monday, but now come up against a near full-strength Wigan who have been impressive of late, running in twenty tries in their last three games, the same figure Catalans have managed all season.
The Cherry and Whites have been victorious 32-10 and 26-6 on their last two visits to the Stade Gilbert Brutus and should be backed to cover the handicap of 10.

The home side were nilled when Warrington visited town three weeks ago and you suspect there will be a bit of interest on the 17/1 the Sportsbook offer for Wigan to pull off the same feat.
