It is a big day both on and off the pitch for rugby league but Phil Spink's focus is the action on the park and he has a couple of tasty tryscorer bets for Friday's games...

"The Kiwi is finishing the campaign in flying form, last week's brace against Huddersfield bringing his tally to eight tries in his last three league games."

Parcell to deliver again for Leeds

Leeds Rhinos vs Salford Red Devils

It is a big day for the sport on Friday with an extraordinary general meeting taking place between the governing bodies and clubs to discuss proposals to once again change the league structure.
Reigning Champions Leeds Rhinos are the one Super League outfit to have sided with the majority of Championship and League 1 clubs in what they would like to see happen, and it is to Headingley where we go for our first bet on Friday evening.

Salford Red Devils bring an unbeaten record in the Qualifiers to Leeds but are missing Jackson Hastings who has been their stand-out player over the last couple of months.
They get an eight-point start on the handicap which makes some appeal but I like the look of the 7/2 for Matt Parcell to score for the hosts a lot more.

It has been a bit of a frustrating campaign for the hooker, who was the top tryscorer in the regular season last year for Leeds, but he's found his scoring boots again, crossing in the last four league games he's featured in, including the 38-22 defeat at Salford back in July. Back him to do some damage again.

Back Goodwin for a good win

Wigan Warriors vs. Warrington Wolves

Back Warrington centre Bryson Goodwin to strike again in the intriguing televised clash with Wigan.

The Kiwi, who would likely have been playing for Leigh had they retained their Super League status last year, is finishing the campaign in flying form, last week's brace against Huddersfield bringing his tally to eight tries in his last three league games.

Wigan have lost just once at the DW Stadium in 2018, a 14-6 reversal against St Helens, and are in pole position for second and a home semi-final. This is their fifth match against Warrington this season and, with both teams missing a number of key men, a bet on the handicap looks tricky. A punt on the Wolves' number three to score anytime at 11/5 however, looks a peach.
