It's another messy day for Prime Minister Theresa May as she seeks to delay Brexit for three months. Betting.Betfair takes a look at the latest politics odds...

"Theresa May's future is on a knife edge and she's now odds-on at 1/4 to go this year"

Nine days to go, no end in sight

Just when we thought UK politics couldn't get more chaotic, Wednesday afternoon has surely been one of the craziest in history for British politics and the Betfair Exchange Political markets have been changing by the minute.

As it stands, Theresa May's future is on a knife edge and she's now odds-on at 1/4 to go this year with a General Election in 2019 now at even money. Boris Johnson is the 6/1 favourite to take over as PM, with Jeremy Corbyn at 13/2.

As for Brexit itself, a No Deal Brexit has shortened dramatically this afternoon into 4/1 from 7/1, with punters clearly not confident of her deal being passed before next Friday, while the UK to leave the EU by the March 29th deadline has shortened into 9/2 from 13/2.
