Doobs at the WSOPE and Brunson busts. But the WSOPE is still going strong.
But not for Dooberama. Not any more.
In "My main event", the player deleivers his tale to the Betfair Forums:
"In the first few hands I get dealt TT. Justin Bonomo (zeejustin), who I already knew was very agressive raises 100 to 400. I call from big or small blind. One other caller. Flop is 543, I check, pretty sure that Bonomo would bet if checked to him. He bets 800, I call. Turn a 6, I checked, praying he hadn't his the straight, he checks behind. Turn is a K, all my instincts tell me he has rivered me, but I still call his 2000 bet. He shows K5. Great start. This puts me down below 17000."
We've been there. All of us:
"Not long after, there is a raise to 300, Bonomo calls, Doyle Brunson calls. Flop comes 45T. Check, check, Bonomo bets 800 or 900, Brunson raises to 2550. Bonomo calls. Turn is an ace. Bonomo bets a few thousand, Brunson reraises. Bonomo goes all in. Brunson is pretty pot committed so calls. Bonomo has 2s3s, Brunson 44. Bonomo has him covered, after that pot off me and a few other steals, but they go through the formalities of counting chips. Brunson misses and says something like I have come an awful long way for a very short game and leaves."
