Annette_15 - the blog is coming soon but in the mean time the biggest name pros in the world are already talking about her.

She can quite rightly say - "I am kind of a big deal in poker."

Which leaves some poker watches with a dilemma: to focus on her age or her gender? The Poker Anorak cares not for either. The Ace is sexless. It's just the top card.

But for more opinions, as we note on the blog, you can tune into Phil Gordon, Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Clonie Gowan on ESPN's Poker Edge radio show.

There they are talking about the "significance of her win". Yes, dear reader, it has to have meaning.

The reporter tells listeners that Annette has "become the first and youngest women to win a main event bracelet". She is also the oldest woman to win a main event bracelet, the first woman called Annette and the only woman ever to wear dark glasses in a winning capacity.

Back to the show and Clonie thinks Annette's win is of "great significance". Chris gets it about right when he says that it "shows women really do have a place in the poker world." They do.

But all the win really signifies is that Annette Obrestad is a terrific poker player.
