The past seven days have been very busy for me this week, what with me taking down tournaments left right and centre and signing contract for training sites and poker rooms.

Well that last bit was a lie but I have been rushed off my feet with the final preparations for the imminent arrival of baby Pudding. However, that has not stopped me from doing my usual rounds in the Blogosphere for the weekly round up.

A common trait amongst the best poker players and those players who seem to have played forever is that they all have other interests outside of poker. Admittedly, many of them will involve gambling in another form but unless you balance "normal" life with poker life, you will grow to hate the game. One blogger, who I have followed for many a year, and have the utmost respect for is Mike Saban, owner of 'Saban Poker Blog.'

Mike works hard by day, often abroad but still finds time for poker and quality time with the family. I particularly like how in this post he manages to get some swearing, poker, comedy and dogs into it! Not many bloggers can say that about their blogs!

Bossanova's blog has been mentioned on these pages before and he returns after a couple of posts that brought a smile to my chubby chops! I've dropped plenty of things down drains or toilets and fished them back out but would I fish my phone out of a toilet after taking a dump?

I'm not sure! LOL! I suppose if it was my new phone, a Nokia 5800, I would as it has Sat Nav on it and I might need to show Bossanova how to get to Aruba. Sorry mate, couldn't resist!

One blog that I always check for updates on a regular basis is the blog of Team Dobbs. The blog is unique in that there is not on contributor but several writers who take it in turns to post an entry. The post you really need to read is that of Jimmy Chipmunk when he took a trip to his local hospital, it is absolutely golden!

Finally, my opening line was some sort of tongue-in-cheek brag but I think that as far as brags go, this is the best and most subtle I have come across. Hoss-TBF plays the largest fixed limit hold'em games anywhere on the net, often up to $1,000/$2,000 blinds and even takes on the like of Phil Hellmuth regularly! Imagine the bankroll required to play those stakes and then realise how sick it is to have your last deposit being six years ago and for only $100! Nice hand sir.

Well I've rambled on a little too much so will leave it here for another week. Keep your fingers crossed for the arrival of Baby Pudding who was due March 26 but is comfy in Mrs P's belly at the mo!!
