I've been really busy this week filling my little head with as much World Series of Poker news as I can and as a result I have been wanting to play a load of tournaments, but with me running bad at life I am still awaiting a cashout from eight working days ago so I've been reading blogs instead.
Alex Martin is a guy who really talks sense and I look forward to his posts on Like Nuts In A Vice along with his articles for Inside Poker. Over the past few weeks he's not updated as regularly as he normally, mainly because he was trying to be selected for the Blackbelt Poker program but now that is out of the way I am hoping he starts to write more frequently. A recent post covers a lot of his recent downtime including his Blackbelt Poker trials, hoidays, staking and wanting to set a dog on the cats in his garden! Quite diverse IMO!
I reckon a lot of you read this update whilst either sat on the throne doing your daily dump or from the comforts of your office chair when you hope the boss isn't looking. Either of those situations require a distinct lack of laughing or chuckling for obvious reasons so if that is the case look away now and do not follow the next blog!
One of the funniest blogs I have found belongs to Rubbish, a 40-year old layabout dreaming of becoming a millionaire. It's hard to find just a single post of his for you to read so I have chosen two of his most recent posts for you. The first is absolutely quality and is about Father's Day. Anyone who is either a.) A dad or b.) has a dad, mum and sisters will have gone through his experiences. The second is a story he wrote called The Daily Wit part deux, which is a great bit of writing, even better when you consider what silly phrases he had to fit into it as part of the rules! Bravo sir!
A like a good rant and I think this one from Smogie entitled "Burnt Bangers" had me smiling away like the sad sap that I am. At first the lack of paragraphs made my eyes bleed then I realised that the paragraphs aren't actually missing, it's just the way the North-East lot talk, fast and non-stop! Check it out anyway and let me know what you think.
I'll finish this round-up with two blogs, the first from Fenix35 and the second from Betfair's very own John Tabatabai. I've mentioned Fenix because he's just had the biggest win of his career thus far, a nice score of $3,406 which is definitely not to be sniffed at and JT gets mentioned for what is quite possible the best blog post I hve read, at least over the past couple of years anyway/ Turn on your sarcasm detectors and head for "Wynn some, lose something."
As Bugs Bunny would says, that's all folks. Hope you enjoy the round-up, thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Once again many thanks for the heads up. Glad you like the posts, too much time on my hands in work and an overactive brain.
All the best.
