After a very frustrating week where my internet connection would have been better if I had tied some string to a couple of tin cans, I finally have my cable service restored. So without further ado, here is this week's blog round-up.

Unless you've been hidden under a rock for the past week or so then you will be more than aware of the mystery Swedish player who has been destroying the regular high-stakes pros for an unbelievable amount of money. I, myself have written about him, as has the excellent Marcus bateman and now a top poker pro has got in on the action.

Cardrunners tutor, INTERNETPOKERS, wrote a mammoth post about Isildur1 entitled "An unstoppable force meets..." which is obviously playing on the question of what would happen if an unstoppable force collides with an unmoveable object. He goes into great detail about hierarchies in poker amongst other things related to the rise of Isildur1 and if you have a spare 20 minutes or so then I strongly suggest you read one of the best articles written this month.

I'm a self confessed geek and as a result I like to see player's stats, so I was in heaven when I read Kyle Million's recent post called "Momentum." Kyle is obviously a very good player and I always ensure I read the top players' blogs as often there is strategy and discussions on there that people would be willing to pay for on training sites. Kyle's blog is no different. A great blog from a great grinder.

As you guys and gals know, I am a sucker for a trip report, especially if it involves Las Vegas, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that this week's round-up Chuck, the owner of "But they were suited" recently went to Vegas during Halloween, something I'd love to do as our American cousins go mental for Halloween. Anyway, not much I can say about trip reports so make sure you check out, "Genius move: Vegas for Halloween."

Finally we have Astin Cubed who wrote an entertaining entry called "Assholes, Fun, and No Profit - for the kids" The post is a trip report of sorts as it documents his play in a recent charity event that involved a Grey Goose induced asshole, some fun and no profit. Exactly what it said on the tin!

Well that's all I have time for this week, make sure you tune in next week for the weekly blog round-up. As always, thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
