Once again the working week is almost done which means it is time for a poker blog round-up. I'm back in the driving seat after an excellent round-up last week from Mr Dave Allan. Some deep posts this time around as well as the usual light-heartedness you've come to expect.

First out of the bag is an excellent post written by Clarkatroid entitled "meeting success and failure with equal measure." Now Mr Clark is a true grinder who puts in some incredible volume in fact he starts this post by telling us he has played for seven years and played at least 3,000,000 hands! The post is essentially about running badly and how to deal with it and advises to train yourself not to show emotion when you lose but also when you win. A great post IMO.

One blog I have followed for a while is that of Alex Fitzgerald, owner of Assassinato Poker. I'm not sure why he decided to call his recent entry "I Bet You Kiss Prostitutes" but whatever the reason you can't take away the fact the post is very insightful. Alex gets stick from time to time on some forums from the usual Trolls that lurk there but I have always found his writing about life and though process about poker to be first rate. This entry is a little on the long side but worth a read if you have a couple of days to spare!

Anyone who has read my blog will know that when I first started trying to play the 45 man turbo games, I watched a video by a player called TheLipoFund which showed how easy they are to beat. Well that was the idea anyway! Well on my hunt for blogs, I found that he himself keeps a blog though it appears he's a little down in the dumps at the moment after making a couple of decisions that he feels were completely wrong. Get used to it mate, I make several everyday! He's going travelling soon and says he'll update his blog regularly so it should be worth bookmarking.

On my travels I came across a blog that reminded me of the time I used to live in a pub, a pub where some of the locals discovered poker and were absolutely terrible at it too! It sounds like the players at Willy C's local are shocking too as he managed to win £60 in 2.5 hours playing £0.10/£0.20 and one guy lost £100 in two hours! How is that even possible? LMAO!

More reminicing was to be had when I read a blog on Twitter Poker called "The CIP Man." I sometimes miss the corporate world, but only for a few moments a day, usually when the kids / Mrs / both are doing my box in and I picture myself in a nice, air conditioned office somewhere but then bullshit like Cloud posts about in this entry make me realise that I don't actually miss it at all. Cloud's comment to the post also made me laugh as someone at my old workplace did the same once! Hahahaha!

Well that is all for now, time to call it a day and get on with the rest of my chores. Until next time, thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
