It's that time of week again folks when I try to round-up a few of the more interesting blog posts of the past week. The blog posts at the end of / start of a new month have a common theme, which is bankroll report or statistics update and although I find the odd one interesting, putting four or five on here would be pretty boring.

The first blog I recommend you pay a visit to is Shane Schleger who writes the brilliant "You Can't Miss What You Can't Measure." Schleger, aka Shaniac in online circles, has been updating this blog since November 2005 so is one of the original poker bloggers. His insight into poker is always interesting, as are his thoughts on life in general but his post entitled "Sunday Poker and a Plea for Decorum Among PPPs" caught my eye.

He always shoots from the hip and recently tore a strip of young pro, Shannon Shorr, for getting above his station and I think this post sums up a lot of so called online professionals. I've seen dozens of people completely change their attitudes after a big win or series of good results and I think at least half of them were on some heater so need to wind their neck in! Shaniac's posts are usually very long so if you want to read his entire blog, then I'd recommend taking a a week off work to do so!

One of the newer poker blogs I see cropping up on people's blogrolls is that of Ant040689. I'm assuming the numbers is is date of birth, making him the ripe old age of 20 but he seems to display a lot of maturity at the tables for someone so young. He recently posted, asking "How many tables is too much?" after realising playing 12+ makes you lose a ton of focus and means poker turns into a video game for the most part. The rest of his blog makes an interesting read and he seems to be one who will progress through the limits and be successful.

One of the occupational hazards of being a poker blogger, apart from back ache, carpal tunnel and RSI is anonymous comments. Some people like to remain anon for numerous reasons but other stay anon because they are retarded and are ashamed of this fact. I had my own bout of keyboard warrior attacks but one man who suffers more than most is Amatay!

Amatay's blog is one of the most popular blogs on the net and as a result he receives a ton of comments from his fan base and also pathetic runts who like to put him, his friends and his relatives down. I think this post was just venting after another personal attack on him but it goes to show the anon fish can wind you up. They don't even have to be hurtful comments, look at the comments on Ant040689's piece listed above, WTF is the point of the anon comment there? Honestly?

In my bid for a balanced life, I must now give you a touch of humour to even out more serious posts above! The first comes from American blogger Smokee, who I have seen around numerous blogs over the years. I love silly poer terminology such as donkaments, roflcopter, omahahaha and stuff like that but being "orange belted is a new one on me and made me chuckle.

Last but certainly not least is Sensei Poker who blogged about being "Busto" As I was reading it I was thinking this can't be real, and wondered how I'd react if it was me, only to realise it was one of the better April Fool posts out there!

This has gone on for far too long so I'll stop now! Mrs P is being induced at some point next week so this will be the last round-up before the arrival of Baby Pud. I should be able to juggle life stuff with scouring blogs so tune in next week for more trips around the blogs and probably an obligatory baby picture!
