As some of you will know, I was in court yesterday to try and sort out a few issue regarding contact with Pud Jr. I really wasn't looking forward to it to say the least as I didn't know what to expect from both the court or what would be dragged up.

It is a huge weight off my mind and I am hoping we can draw a line in the sand and move on from all the negativity of the past and focus on the future.

Thankfully, any negative thoughts were soon banished after talking to a CAFCASS officer and then having a small meeting with both my own and Pud Jr's mum's solicitors. For once it seems like we have made some really good progress and I have hopefully turned a corner.

Nobody really wins in a situation like this but in the long run Pud Jr will benefit a lot from what was discussed and agreed on. His mum has allowed me to have Parental Responsibility which means I can now meet up with his diabetes doctor and be fully trained in administering his medicines etc, which in turn will lead to me having full access to him and eventually overnight stays and possibly holidays too.

It is a huge weight off my mind and I am hoping we can draw a line in the sand and move on from all the negativity of the past and focus on the future. I've started the ball rolling by contacting Pud Jr's diabetes doctor and I'm going for some training of sorts next Tuesday which I think involves injecting teddy bears and the like! LOL!

Poker-wise not much has happened to be honest, I played a little heads-up cash and lost a buy-in within about 20 hands when I decided it was a good idea to get it all-in preflop with TT and couldn't suck out against KK. The guy was a total passive fish though, obviously I found this out after the 20th hand, and I soon had all my money back, plus his stack before I logged off as it was pretty late and I needed sleep.

I'm planning on playing quite a lot over the next week or so especially now the stress of court is over and done with, so hopefully this will turn back into a poker blog and I'll able to brag about some decent wins for a change instead of whining like a little girl!

As always, thanks for reading and best of luck at the tables!

      Hey Pud,

Good news on the PR mate...I can sympathise having sat in court trying to sort out contact myself!

good news mate. You know how I feel about these kind of things because we talked about it the other night. Glad it seems to have worked out well.
