The weekend is once again upon us, which can mean only mean one thing, it is poker blog round-up time!Another mixed bad today, with a some great tips on becoming a better player, turning 30-years old and even women trouble!

First up is Alex Craft, a 28-year old Finance Analyst based in Australia who has been playing poker for around three years. I can't remember which link I followed into his blog, 'Real Life: Micro NL Grinder' but I am certainly glad I did as I got to read a brilliant entry called 'Steps to Success.'

It seems that Alex, also known as Whiteheatsyd, was struggling to take his game to the next level so enrolled the services of a coach by the name of WiltOnTilt and started posting videos on the training site, Deuces Cracked. This has obviously paid off as he is now a regular at NL200 and judging by the post I mentioned, has a good mindset and looks set for success.

Another guy who's a very talented writer is Kevin Stevens who keeps several blogs but the one mentioned here today is Flipyouforit. I have honestly enjoyed all of Kevin's posts and his recent one entitled, 'The Return' struck a chord with me. He mentions Carl 'The Dean' Sampson in the entry, a writer and poker player who has been getting some serious stick on forums for various reasons. However, I think the comments left on the entry are worth a mention here all by themselves as the anon guy goes, and is, obviously mental!

A blogger called Wonder Flop is 30-years old on September 9 and his mates are already ribbing him about it. I'm 28 now and I'm honestly not bothered about turning 30, some things just don't bother me. One thing that did make me sit up and listen was the first paragraph of his recent blog where he says some people have told him he is too old to carve a career out of poker at his age. As someone who would love to play this crazy game for all or most of my income, this worried me. Should I be worried? Do you have to be 21-years old to be successful at this online malarkey.

Finally, a post from popular blogger Configurati entitled simply 'WTF!' and seriously the title does the post justice. I'll let you read it for yourself but I think every man on this planet, who has split up from a girl, can sympathise with the guy here. Some women are indeed mental!
