Sheffield's afternoon card is the destination for all three recommended bets, with KOWLOON CONNELLY (T4) the opening fancy in the A6 at 15.27. The selection has been all the rage in the ring both starts following some eye-catching trials but has come up just short on each occasion. There's little doubt that he's going to end up better than this grade and he could rack up a sequence taking on mainly exposed rivals.

TEWMAX BRUNO (T3) has yet to taste success upon his transfer from Monmore, but he has a 16.55 performance in a sprint on his CV and it's only a matter of time before he gets loose at the front end in one of the A5 contests, so he's well worth siding with in an ordinary-looking race of its type at 16.46.

There's plenty of pace on the outside in the concluding race at 18.11 so KNOCKGLASS VIXEN (T2) won't be on the premises early, but this strong stayer takes a slight dip in class. She's never been one for maximum faith give her strike rate but on the clock she really should be a big factor.
