"...this represents a drop in class and with claims of stealing a march out wide early doors..."
Timeform pick out their three best bets from Sheffield on Thursday...
Neamstown Rita (Trap 2, 14.27) was impressive when scoring in the class of A2 on her penultimate start, leading from the second bend and comfortably holding re-opposing Frolicandfun for a 2-length success. Third last time, the daughter of Head Bound was ill-served by meeting trouble-in-running but the suspicion is she has an even bigger effort in her locker when the cards fall right and one of her better exits can see her hold the corner and repel the challengers.
Glenvale Jet (Trap 5, 16.46) arrives on a losing run stretching back to late February, trouble-in-running often proving his Achilles' heel. Beaten in a very fast time for the grade of A5 latest, he was never able to show his true colours. However, this represents a drop in class and with claims of stealing a march out wide early doors, we're hopeful the son of Droopys Jet can show his true colours.
Dirty Harry (Trap 5, 17.22) deserved having his effort marked up last time out, coming from an unpromising position to get up close home to get the better of D4 rivals. Up in grade now, it's fair to say the grader hasn't been overly harsh on the son of Zero Ten and with potential for better still being a lightly-raced April 17 whelp, we're willing to side with him to come out on top again.
