Kitmins Shadow (T3) remains pretty low-mileage as a June '21 whelp and, following a short break, has returned an improved model, posting a career-best effort when successful in A3 class at the start of the month. Backing that up with a solid second behind a resurgent kennelmate last time, Barrie Draper's charge may not have finished improving just yet and, with sound claims of leading this field early, we're hopeful he can string them out and have enough in reserve to hold off the challengers.

Droopys Yogi (T1) lines up on a losing run of six but, following a spell on the sidelines, he ran his best race for a while when third in a higher grade last time, bumping into a rapidly improving sort. Eased a peg on the graded ladder since, his main objective is to escape crowding around bends 1 and 2 and, with a clear run, he's expected to be coming home stronger than any other on the rails and can resume winning ways.

Swindon - 16:34 - Back Southfield Hawk (Trap 4)

Southfield Hawk (T4) can build on an encouraging first competitive start at the track and come out on top in the Blunsdon Maiden Stayers. A strong-running sort at home track Hove, this sort of test brings out the best in the son of Droopys Sydney and he can prove too strong for these rivals granted his share of luck-in-running.
