Sheriff Harty (Trap 6) - 15.44 Newcastle
Following a short spell at Sheffield, SHERIFF HARTY (Trap 6, 15.44) has yet to hit top form following her return to Newcastle, admittedly facing some stiff enough tasks in the context of the grade. However, today she lines up in an A5 lacking depth, and could be ready to strike. A strong-running bitch over four-bend trips, she's not expected to be about early doors but with sound claims on the clock can announce her presence from the three-quarter point and reel in the pace-setters off the last bend.
Sharp Joe (Trap 6) - 15.48 Hove
We head to Hove for our first selection this afternoon with SHARP JOE (Trap 6, 15.48) fancied to end a losing run stretching back to mid-April. Seamus Cahill's charge has had the bulk of his recent efforts marred by trouble-in-running but has shaped up as though his turn isn't far away with strong-finishing efforts on each of his last two runs. Holding good claims on expected final time, we're hopeful he can turn handy behind the early-paced types out wide and assert off the third bend to deservedly regain the winning thread.
Choctaw Razan (Trap 1) - 18.36 Sunderland
We head back to the North East for our final selection, this time at Sunderland and CHOCTAW RAZAN (Trap 1, 18.36) looks to hold sound claims of resuming winning ways. A winner in A6 class three starts back, she's done little wrong either outing since, coming from an unpromising position to finish third latest. Holding her rails pitch early is a necessity but given she should be reaching her peak post season, all looks set fair for a bold showing granted a clear run.
