Nottingham - 17.56 - Back Windgap Isadora (Trap 5)
A facile winner in a lower grade in February, WINDGAP ISADORA (Trap 5, 17.56) has largely acquitted herself well subsequently at Nottingham, again coming home to good effect when finishing a neck third on her penultimate start. Best forgiven her latest run having been bumped early on it's distinctly possible we've yet to see the very best of the daughter of Pestana and with a clear run this evening, we're hopeful of a very big run.
Sheffield - 19.21 - Back Slippy Nina (Trap 1)
SLIPPY NINA (Trap 1) lines up in Sheffield's 19.21 on a lengthy losing run but following some respite from the grader has displayed more encouraging signs of late, finishing off particularly strongly when runner-up in this grade of A6 latest. Not operating at the same level she was around the turn of the year, her record of 2-5 in this class rates a plus and with a clear run around bends 1 and 2, she's expected to be powering home again on the rails and can hopefully be in front where it matters.
Sheffield - 21.26 - Back Magna Phoenix (Trap 4)
Having made the perfect start to her career with debut success last month, MAGNA PHOENIX (Trap 4, 21.26) has remained in form since, going down narrowly on her next start before a respectable third in this class of D4 seven days ago. Undoubtedly capable of better still as she gains experience, Barrie Draper's bitch should soon be front rank and can maintain the gallop to gain a second career success.
