Newcastle's first race on Wednesday comes up at 14.04 and, despite arriving winless to date, JAYQUE PIXIE (Trap 4) could well be ready to strike. Certainly not lacking for stamina, it's not out of the question the December 20' whelp can crucially turn handy on this occasion and with recent exploits largely marred by trouble-in-running, we're hopeful the daughter of Slippery Robert can get into a handy position on the run up and prove a different proposition.

Lisnfaulla Rosie (Trap 3) - 17.22 Newcastle

The final race on the card comes up at 17.22 an A7 over the standard 480m trip and LISNAFULLA ROSIE (Trap 3) gets our nod to strike. A back-to-back winner in A6 company this summer, she's two from five when operating in this class and with a swift break, can prove tough to peg back.

Chain of Daisies (Trap 3) - 18.19 Sunderland

We head to Sunderland for our final selection at 18.19 and having showed progressive form without getting her head in front in three competitive starts to date, CHAIN OF DAISIES (Trap 3) looks to hold sound claims of shedding the maiden tag. Only a May 21' whelp, her latest effort was all the more encouraging given her position early doors and, with a clear run, she can take another step forward and land a race essentially lacking depth.
