Having graded on at A3 level this summer, it didn't immediately click for BARNFIELD BARRA (T2) but on the back of a two-bend trial he opened his account on his penultimate start this month. Left in the same grade, he backed that up when worn down on the line by a strong stayer a week ago and in what looks a similar race this evening, he rates the percentage call in the 18.41.

Cotton Fields (Trap 6) - 19.16 Nottingham

It's been a bit stop-start for COTTON FIELDS (T6) in her career so far but last week's third place-finish despite crowding at the second bend was more promising. That coupled with the fact the grader now eases him to A4 class means he's an appealing candidate in the 19.16 contest.

Flying Izzy (Trap 6) - 20.06 Nottingham

The key to the A3 contest at 20.06 could be the battle to the first bend with plenty of pace coming from the outside three traps. According to our sectionals though, FLYING IZZY (T6) should be the one to gain early supremacy and while she was brushed aside by one here last week, the winner on that day did record a massive career best.
