Icecool Bluebell (T4) hasn't tasted success since New Year's Eve but in her defence she's been lightly raced subsequently and dropped a big hint her turn may well be imminent when collared in the dying strides nine days ago. Improving on the clock with each start since her absence, the daughter of Ballymac Best could well have her nose in front once more on the run-up and we're hopeful, with fitness now assured, she can have enough in reserve to fend off the challengers late on.

Doncaster - 20:18 - Back Fagans Petunia (Trap 2)

Fagans Petunia (T2) deservedly resumed winning ways on her penultimate start and again ran well when third behind a fast winner for the grade six days ago. Likely to be led up early by Millers Bally (Trap 1), Fagans Petunia may well find that one coming back to the field from the three-quarter point and, with the balance of her form reading well and further progress not out of the question, we're hopeful of a bold showing with a clear run.

Doncaster - 20:33 - Back Glitter Ronnie (Trap 6)

This is an interesting contest over the 450-metre trip and the largely progressive Glitter Ronnie (T6) gets our vote to add another victory to his C.V. A facile winner two starts back, he ran another cracker when coming from an unpromising position to finish runner-up in this grade of B3 last time. That effort suggested he's more than capable of making his mark in this company, and the son of Pestana rates a big player again.
