Timeform Greyhound SmartPlays: Coppice Kaiser to continue good work at Nottingham

Timeform focus on the greyhound action at Nottingham

"Coppice Kaiser confirmed himself well above average in qualifying trials and has continued the good work in competitive action, scoring impressively at Towcester in July."

Timeform highlight the three best bets at Nottingham on Monday.

Nottingham play host to a quality open-race card this evening, featuring the heats of the Jenningsbet Puppy Classic, and NEWINN SYD (Trap 1) can hopefully get us off to a flyer in heat one at 19:34. Impressive when landing a C&D open two starts back, the son of Droopys Sydney again ran with credit despite a moderate break when runner-up on his latest outing last Monday, finishing off strongly. An exciting prospect open to further improvement, he can prove sharper at the boxes this time and prove too strong for this evening's rivals.

In heat two of the Jenningsbet Puppy Classic at 19:51, ANTIGUA BINGO (Trap 2) is fancied to book her place in round two having made a very bright start to her career. Boasting a record of two from three over Nottingham's 500-metre trip, she wasn't seen to best effect when third in a Trial Stake for this competition last time. Boasting sound claims on expected final time, she should soon be handy on the inside and can maintain the gallop and come out on top.

COPPICE KAISER (Trap 5) confirmed himself well above average in qualifying trials and has continued the good work in competitive action, scoring impressively at Towcester in July. Posting a slick 30.18 C&D trial seven days ago, that ought to have put him spot on for this and, with a clear run, Jimmy Fenwick's charge can emerge victorious again at 20:36.
