A career strike rate of 4 wins from 32 runs isn't particularly inspiring but TORY MEGAN (T4) has returned from a lengthy spell off the track in excellent order, landing an A5 contest in comfortable fashion. She would also have finished closer without late interference in A4 class last week, a performance that surely augurs well for her claims in 18.19 contest, particularly as one or two of her rivals are probably not going to be at peak fitness.

Blackberries (Trap 5) - 19.09 Nottingham

BLACKBERRIES (T5) has gained all three of her career wins at a lower level that tonight's A5 assignment but the make-up of the 19.09 contest looks absolutely ideal given early pace is her asset and she's flanked by a couple of habitual-slow starters. Her latest win was recorded in an excellent time for the grade which suggests she's capable of repelling all challengers here.

Aslan (Trap 5) - 19.41 Nottingham

Having turned an A3 contest into a one-sided affair last month, ASLAN (T5) has struggled to land a telling blow in a pair of A2 races since. That said, he suffered a spot of crowding on each occasion and with the grader quick to lend a hand, a bounce back to form would come as no surprise in the 19.41 affair.
