Brennans Appleby (Trap 3) - 18:19 Sheffield

Brennans Appleby (T3) is fancied to open her account at the track. She was A3 class at her best when trained at Doncaster and, having joined a top kennel, last week's effort in A6 company was encouraging, sticking to her task having suffered early crowding. There isn't masses of early pace forecast so, in the expectation she can turn in a better position this time, she looks the way to go.

Boherash Marian (Trap 3) - 19:09 Sheffield

Boherash Marian (T3) was just about better than ever when making all in A3 company 12 days ago, and with the grader leaving her at the same level hopes are high for a quick follow up. Early pace is very much Boherash Marian's weapon and, with a couple of moderate trappers on her inside, a prominent early position has to be a strong possibility.

Bamford (Trap 3) - 19:41 Sheffield

Bamford (T3) has yet to win a race having tried both two and four bends, but as a June '20 greyhound there's still plenty of untapped potential. A narrow defeat in this A5 class in April reads pretty well and he's had excuses both starts since having suffered interference each time. Bamford has a smash break in his locker and can prove he's better than this grade when getting on the bunny, a situation that may well arise this evening.
