Cross Keys Stroll (Trap 1) - 18.19 Nottingham

The first of three selections on Nottingham's evening card comes in the opener at 18.19, with CROSS KEYS STROLL (T1) taken to gain a deserved success. She's been knocking on the door in this grade in recent weeks, sticking to her task when runner-up the last twice and she holds the aces on our figures.

Cloughtaney Rain (Trap 2) - 18.51 Nottingham

Having scaled from A7 to A3 company this year, CLOUGHTANEY RAIN's (T2) form has levelled off somewhat, but he showed a willing attitude to overcome early crowding when successful in an A4 on penultimate start. Left in that grade, Cloughtaney Rain put in another good shift when staying on to force a photo here last week and he's clearly a force at this level. She should take some stopping in the 18.51.

Tornaroy Trip (Trap 1) - 19.09 Nottingham

An A3 winner as recently as August, TORNAROY TRIP (T1) has failed to land a telling blow since but that is liable happen for a habitual modest trapper. She clearly needs a bit of luck but there's pace across the track in the 19.09 which may compromise a couple of rivals and there won't be a runner in this finishing faster than Tornaroy Trip. As such, she looks a value call at the forecast prices down at a level she can clearly win at.
