Timeform Greyhound SmartPlays: Sizzling Belle can make her class tell

Sizzling Belle (Trap 3, 19.09) was a solid high-end grader when campaigned at Belle Vue and did well to get on top in this grade of A5 on just her second competitive start at Sheffield. Hard to knock consistency-wise in defeat subsequently, this looks less demanding than of late and we're expecting a bold showing from the daughter of Belles Direction.

Rathnagore Sue (Trap 3, 21.16) is yet to get her head in front following an enforced switch from Belle Vue (successful in A4 at that venue) yet in truth recent displays have been masked by bumpy rides, including when runner-up last time. An inconsistent trapper, it's not out of the question for her to turn handy behind Josies Sara and we think John Walton's bitch can get on the scoresheet at Owlerton.

The penultimate race on Sheffield's RPGTV fixture is a basement grade sprint contest at 21.34 and youngster Hitthelids Sid (Trap 3) could be the answer. Admittedly, workmanlike rather than spectacular in qualifying, it's feasible to think he was unlucky on his competitive debut 8 days ago, going to the bend handy he found a bump at that point halting his progress. A November 18' whelp, he's expected to improve as he gains experience and could well be up to landing a race distinctly lacking depth.
