A steadily progressive sort when campaigned at Sheffield, the fact he escapes a grade rise is a positive and with a clear passage out wide, the son of Droopys Sydney is fancied to make a bold bid to maintain his 100% record at the track.

Fearsome Mint (Trap 4) - 18:19 Sheffield

Over at Sheffield, one hound who very much caught the eye in defeat last week was FEARSOME MINT (Trap 4, 18.19), crowded at a crucial stage but doing good late work to be beaten one and three quarter lengths in this grade. An improved model in recent weeks, turning front rank rates a distinct possibility and we're hopeful she can do just that and not look back.
