HARTON TORNADO was a facile scorer in a 500-metre grading trial and it's fair to say he's encountered his fair share of bumpy rides subsequently, his latest effort a total write off. In fairness, amidst those efforts he has highlighted he's more than capable of landing a contest of this nature, and with further progress a distinct possibility as a November 18' whelp, he can turn handy behind likely pace-setter Cabaret Queen (Trap 6) and turn the screw from halfway.

BLACK SPARKLE (Trap 6) - 16.04 Sheffield

BLACK SPARKLE has recently entered the veteran stage and posted a comfortable success in this grade four starts back. Far from disgraced subsequently, Jamie Smith's charge looks well-housed as the sole wide seed, and in a race lacking depth, she may well be up to adding to the tally.

LYRE RAMBLER (Trap 3) - 17.03 Sheffield

A dual winner at Belle Vue earlier in the year, LYRE RAMBLER has yet to taste success in four starts following his switch to Sheffield, admittedly catching the eye in similarly low-grade affairs. Far from disgraced over six bends last time, he could hardly have been found a better opening in truth, and it would come as a disappointment where he not able to capitalise for the Paul Gregson kennel.
