Jake Paul wants to fight Saul Alvarez next

As Jake Paul prepares to fight Mike Tyson tonight the Betfair market on the YouTuber's next opponent is already live. Get the odds on who Paul will face next...

We are just hours away from Jake Paul's showdown with Mike Tyson in Texas and already the Betfair market on the YouTuber's next opponent is live on Betfair.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is the 13/53.60 favourite to be next up for Paul who said this week:

"This moment will prove that I'm the face of boxing... Me versus Canelo at 200lbs for the cruiserweight world title is the biggest fight."

It would be an audacious move for Paul, who has fought 11 times and won 10 times, to get into the ring with the Mexican but the American believes that if he does get the fight he can deliver "the biggest upset in the sport of boxing."

Fellow YouTuber KSI is 3/14.00 to fight Paul and the mixed martial artists Nate Diaz is 10/34.33.

Paul's only defeat so far came against Tommy Fury - the brother of British heavyweight Tyson Fury - and a rematch is 5/16.00 to be next for the American.

Jake Paul favourite to beat Mike Tyson

First things first, Paul must defeat Tyson tonight to show that the boxing world needs to take him seriously. A defeat would be damaging for the YouTuber's brand and his hopes of facing more celebrated fighters.

The Betfair Sportsbook market for the fight makes Paul 8/151.53 to win with Tyson 7/42.75.

Paul has achieved seven of his victories by knockout or technical knockout and you can back him doing that again tonight at 11/10.

The 58-year-old former-world heavyweight champion last fought professionally in 2005 and there are concerns that he is putting his health at risk for a payday.

Others, however, think that Tyson's punching power will make him a formidable opponent for Paul. That was the view of Betting.Betfair boxing expert Frank Monkhouse who said in his preview: "Tyson is past his prime, but raw power is the last thing to leave a fighter's arsenal."

The fight, which will take place at 4am UK time, can be watched on Netflix and is sure to draw millions of viewers. Check out the Betfair markets if you plan on staying up and see the range of outcomes that you can bet on, including method of victory, round betting and much more.
