There's been no slips-ups of late for Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy and his side can take another three points on Saturday
Back Blackpool @ [1.94]; Back Walsall @ [3.0]; Back Morecambe @ [3.0]; The Treble pays approximately 17.4
Betfair Multiples are a great way to land a bumper payout; and that's exactly what our man Andrew French is attempting to do this weekend by backing Blackpool, Walsall and Morecambe.
Leg 1: Blackpool at [1.94] to beat Barnsley
Only leaders Newcastle have a better home record than Blackpool - and I am taking Ian Holloway's side to continue their fine form at Bloomfield Road by beating Barnsley on Saturday. The Seasiders are unbeaten in nine on their own turf, and have conceded just four goals in the process. They were held by Preston in front of the TV cameras on Monday night and Holloway will know they need to keep taking maximum points at home to maintain their promotion bid.
Visitors Barnsley have certainly been on the up of late, pulling themselves into mid table under new manager Mark Robins. They would surely have won at Plymouth last week as they led 4-1 when the match was abandoned. However, a trip to Blackpool is much tougher and, having missed out on three points on Monday, I feel Blackpool will have the edge - therefore they are the first leg of my treble at [1.94].
Leg 2: Walsall at [3.0] to beat Southampton
Walsall have won five of their last seven games in League One, including three home victories on the trot, and I believe they can add another three points to their tally at the Bescot Stadium by beating Southampton this weekend. The Saddlers are one of the form teams in the division and their good run has lifted them to within a point of the play-off places.
With a points deduction to deal with, Southampton had plenty on their plate before a ball was kicked. After a slow start to the season they are starting to click now - but even if they had the 10 points back, they'd still be behind Walsall in the table. At a price of [3.0], Walsall make an appealing second part of the bet.
Leg 3: Morecambe at [2.4] to beat Port Vale
I really do like to follow teams in form, and purple patches don't come much better than the one Morecambe are enjoying at the moment. Sammy McIlroy's side have won five League Two games in a row, and in the process have netted 13 goals with just two conceded. They have lost just once in eight away games in all competitions since mid-August, and I think they can add three points to their tally when they visit Port Vale.
The Valiants have won just twice at home in the league all season, and you have to go way back to September 5 to find the last of those. Since then, they have mustered just four points and six goals in seven games at Vale Park. With Morecambe flying, I can see that home misery continuing, so complete the treble by backing Morecambe at [3.0].
*The Treble pays around 17.4
