2.30 Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
145 13. RIBCHESTER Richard Fahey William Buick
139 10. LIGHTNING SPEAR David Simcock Jamie Spencer
139 11. MUTAKAYYEF William Haggas Jim Crowley

Analyst's Verdict:
The progression of Ribchester shows little signs of slowing down and he was better than ever when winning the Lockinge last time. Consistent and likeable, he can confirm himself as the leading miler in Europe with a second Royal Ascot success. Lightning Spear should have come on for his return behind that rival at Newbury and can follow him home again, while Mutakayyef has solid place claims.

3.05 Coventry Stakes (Group 2) (1) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
117p 6. DE BRUYNE HORSE Richard Hannon Sean Levey
116p 3. BROTHER BEAR Mrs J. Harrington Colm O'Donoghue
116p 7. DENAAR Richard Hannon Frankie Dettori

Analyst's Verdict:
De Bruyne Horse produced one of the best performances by a juvenile this year when winning the Woodcote at Epsom last time and makes the most appeal. His stablemate Denaar is another to consider, with Irish-pair Brother Bear and Murillo making up the shortlist.

3.40 King's Stand Stakes (Group 1) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
141 18. LADY AURELIA Wesley A. Ward Frankie Dettori
140 16. MARSHA Sir Mark Prescott Bt Luke Morris
136 12. SIGNS OF BLESSING Francois Rohaut Stephane Pasquier

Analyst's Verdict:
Lady Aurelia's brazen show of speed in the Queen Mary was one of the highlights of last year's meeting, and with her reappearance suggesting she's back in excellent heart, she has to be the call in receipt of weight all round. Clear second choice is fellow-filly Marsha, who has tasted success at the very top level, with Signs of Blessing best of the rest.

4.20 St James's Palace Stakes (Group 1) (1) 7f213y

Timeform Top Rated:
140p 2. CHURCHILL Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore
139p 1. BARNEY ROY Richard Hannon James Doyle
136 4. LANCASTER BOMBER Aidan O'Brien Donnacha O'Brien

Analyst's Verdict:
The Guineas 1-2 Churchill and Barney Roy are several pounds clear on Timeform ratings, and this could develop into a duel. From a value point of view, Barney Roy looks the better bet, given he has only a length to find on his rival and has been kept fresh since. He will also have learnt plenty from his Newmarket experience, only the third run of his career.

5.00 Ascot Stakes (Handicap) (2) 2m3f210y

Timeform Top Rated:
117 7. MAGIC CIRCLE Ralph Beckett Silvestre De Sousa
116 14. WHO DARES WINS Alan King Tom Marquand
115 12. OCEANE Alan King Fergus Sweeney

Analyst's Verdict:
You have to go back to 2013 for when Thomas Hobson and Beyond Conceit were last seen out in this sphere, but they've showcased their talent over hurdles in recent months and could be the pair to focus on. Preference is for Thomas Hobson, who looks tailor-made for this marathon. Who Dares Wins and Magic Circle, both major eye-catchers in the Chester Cup, and Endless Acres are others to consider.

5.35 Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
116p 10. DECLARATIONOFPEACE Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore
115p 22. ELIZABETH DARCY Wesley A. Ward John R. Velazquez
107p 1. ANOTHER BATT George Scott Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst's Verdict:
Declarationofpeace has a hefty price tag to live up to, but he looked every inch a top prospect when emphatically landing the odds at Dundalk last month. He's bred for further, but clearly isn't short on pace and he's preferred to the promising once-raced Wesley Ward-trained duo Elizabeth Darcy and Nootka Sound.
