1.50 Al Rayyan Stakes (Aston Park) (Group 3) (1) 1½m

Timeform Top Rated:
138 5. MY DREAM BOAT Clive Cox Adam Kirby
137 3. HAWKBILL Charlie Appleby William Buick
133 2. CHEMICAL CHARGE Ralph Beckett Oisin Murphy

Analyst's Verdict:
A red-hot field with half of them winners at Royal Ascot last season and it's Hawkbill who is taken to come out on top. He should have come on plenty for his reappearance in France and remains unexposed over this trip having appeared to stay it in a Group 1 in Germany in November. Across The Stars could improve again this year and has to be respected, while My Dream Boat can be thereabouts.

2.20 Shalaa Carnarvon Stakes (Listed) (1) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
121 5. VISIONARY Robert Cowell Jamie Spencer
118 8. PERFECT ANGEL Andrew Balding Oisin Murphy
116 6. SIMMIE K. R. Burke Richard Kingscote

Analyst's Verdict:
It's interesting that Frankie Dettori takes the ride on Barrington, who wasn't disgraced in a Newmarket Group 2 when last seen in July and might be worth siding with on his return. Perfect Angel was runner-up in the Mill Reef over C&D last autumn and is respected with the Andrew Balding string in form, while Visionary won't be far away if translating his recent AW form to turf.

2.55 Al Zubarah London Gold Cup Handicap (2) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
112p 6. CENTURY DREAM Simon Crisford Harry Bentley
111p 8. MUCHO APPLAUSE Andrew Balding Oisin Murphy
110p 12. BUSH HOUSE Hugo Palmer Josephine Gordon

Analyst's Verdict:
Despite racing freely in the early stages, Century Dream was still bang there at the finish when third on his reappearance at Sandown. He remains open to improvement and could take some pegging back if settling better this time. Mucho Applause also put up a bold show on his first start of the season at that Esher venue and is a live danger. Bush House, Contrast and Defoe are others to consider.

3.30 Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes (Group 1) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
143 7. RIBCHESTER Richard Fahey William Buick
140 4. GALILEO GOLD Hugo Palmer Frankie Dettori
139 5. LIGHTNING SPEAR David Simcock Oisin Murphy

Analyst's Verdict:
Ribchester will be ideally suited by the return to 1m after being just stretched by 9f in the Dubai Turf in March and can notch a second win at the highest level. Galileo Gold lost his way towards the end of 2016 but that was understandable after doing so much in the first half of the campaign and he'll be a big threat if back to anywhere near his best. Somehow is another who should go well.

4.05 Olympic Glory Conditions Stakes (2) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
107p 1. CARDSHARP Mark Johnston Non Runner
98p 2. DENAAR Richard Hannon Frankie Dettori
97p 4. KODITIME Clive Cox Adam Kirby

Analyst's Verdict:
Richard Hannon's impressive AW winner Denaar can follow up the stable's win last year in this event. Kit Marlowe and Koditime head the dangers in what looks sure to be an informative contest.

4.40 Haras de Bouquetot Fillies' Trial Stakes (Listed) (1) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
111p 3. GRACIOUS DIANA John Gosden William Buick
110 2. FLOOD WARNING Clive Cox Adam Kirby
109 6. PROSPER Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni

Analyst's Verdict:
Gracious Diana was extremely strong at the finish when landing a good-looking C&D maiden last month, and on that evidence is the one to beat. Once-raced pair Aljezeera and Natavia are very promising though, and an impressive winner here could shake up next month's Oaks market.

5.10 Toronado Handicap (2) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
125 9. TOP BEAK Hughie Morrison Charlie Bennett (3)
124 10. BRIGLIADORO Philip McBride Tom Marquand
123+ 12. MUTARAKEZ Brian Meehan Kieren Fox

Analyst's Verdict:
El Hayem can be added to the list of unlucky Chester losers when heavily backed for a handicap last week, and is taken to gain compensation with a 2 lb rise underestimating him. Top Beak hasn't delivered on his early potential, but last month's reappearance at this venue was more like, with Mutarakez and Brigliadoro completing the shortlist.
