12.50 John And Josie Celebration Novices' Hurdle (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
No ratings for this race

Analyst's Verdict:
Mr Whipped is the obvious one starting out for Nicky Henderson having changed hands for £160,000 after winning a point in March. Irish Prophecy couldn't have wished for an easier start over hurdles when nabbing a comfortable early lead and making all at Sandown on Sunday and he's unlikely to be turned out again, leaving Ashkoul for the forecast.

1.20 BetVictor Chase (Novices' Limited Handicap) (4) 2¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
132 9. RAMORE WILL Chris Gordon David Noonan
131 2. FULL Neil Mulholland Noel Fehily
128p 7. BAD BOY DU POULDU Gary Moore Joshua Moore

Analyst's Verdict:
Aficionado could be the way to go on his chase debut with Sam Twiston-Davies up. He should have come on plenty for his run at Stratford after a long time off and it's likely connections have had a spin over fences in mind for a while. Bad Boy du Pouldu and Ramore Will are both respected, while Full seems sure to be in the hunt for the placings again.

1.50 BetVictor Golden Goal Novices' Hurdle (4) 2m5f

Timeform Top Rated:
148p 11. SECRET INVESTOR Paul Nicholls Sam Twiston-Davies
144 1. BLACK MISCHIEF Harry Fry Noel Fehily
136p 6. ENNISCOFFEY OSCAR Emma Lavelle Leighton Aspell

Analyst's Verdict:
Expensive point recruit Secret Investor produced a most promising first effort under Rules when runner-up at Ascot this time last year, finding only a stouter stayer too strong. With improvement very much on the cards, he can make a winning return, though Black Mischief, with his sights lowered, and impressive bumper winner Way Back Then are also worthy of consideration.

2.25 follow@BetVictorracing On Twitter Novices' Chase (3) 3m

Timeform Top Rated:
No ratings for this race

Analyst's Verdict:
Give Me A Copper remains an exciting prospect for chasing and should overcome Three Ways in this match.

2.55 Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (2) 2m5f

Timeform Top Rated:
162 2. WHO DARES WINS Alan King Tom Cannon
160 4. LE BREUIL Ben Pauling Daryl Jacob
158+ 7. SUMKINDOFKING Tom George A. P. Heskin

Analyst's Verdict:
Who Dares Wins ended last season on the up over hurdles, and his recent Flat exploits suggest he hasn't stopped improving yet, so with fitness assured, he has lots to recommend him. Bags Groove was value for a bit extra when winning at Aintree recently and is a massive threat, with Le Breuil another with potential this term.

3.30 Weatherbys General Stud Book Online Graduation Chase (2) 2½m110y

Timeform Top Rated:
171 2. WHISPER Nicky Henderson Davy Russell
164 1. CLAN DES OBEAUX Paul Nicholls Sam Twiston-Davies

Analyst's Verdict:
Whisper was superbly managed by his handler last season, losing nothing in defeat against a superior stablemate in a couple of Grade 1s over the spring and is expected to account for Clan des Obeaux, though he is smart in his own right.

4.00 BetVictor Proud Supporters of Greatwood Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
130 9. JUMPING JACK Chris Gordon Harry Reed (3)
124 1. TEMPLIER Gary Moore William Clarke (10)
122+ 8. KALASKADESEMILLEY Johnny Farrelly Thomas Cheesman

Analyst's Verdict:
Jumping Jack's waywardness on his previous visit to this track sounds a note of caution, but this isn't a deep handicap and he is weighted to win with his 3-y-o allowance a big help. Stonecoldsoba may yet have more to offer in this sphere, while the hard-to-train 8-y-o King's Tempest warrants a market check.
