2.20 Langleys Solicitors British EBF Marygate Fillies' Stakes (Listed) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
103p 10. NO LIPPY Mark Johnston P. J. McDonald
99p 16. STRINGS OF LIFE Charlie Appleby William Buick
98p 1. AEROSPHERE Bryan Smart Graham Lee

Analyst's Verdict:
Strings of Life overcame inexperience to make a winning start at Newmarket last month, and she's a potentially useful filly in the making. It's hard not to have been impressed with Lily Agnes winner No Lippy, who's shown a really likeable attitude on both her starts, while Cotubanama, On The Stage and Carrie's Vision all have the potential for better.

2.55 Longines Irish Champions Weekend Fillies' Stakes (Listed) (1) 7f192y

Timeform Top Rated:
123 6. THREADING Mark Johnston William Buick
116 3. DARK ROSE ANGEL Simon Crisford Frankie Dettori
111p 5. SHEIKHA REIKA Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni

Analyst's Verdict:
Sheikha Reika laid positive foundations as a 2-y-o and built on those exploits to make an encouraging return at Newmarket last month, scoring with a bit in hand. The return to slightly further will hold no fears and she can take the step up in grade in her stride. Lowther winner Threading seemed ill at ease both tries at Newmarket and is not written off here. Awesometank can also feature.

3.30 Mansionbet Yorkshire Cup (Group 2) (1) 1m5f188y

Timeform Top Rated:
133 7. STRADIVARIUS John Gosden Frankie Dettori
131 5. MAX DYNAMITE W. P. Mullins Ryan Moore
129 8. WICKLOW BRAVE W. P. Mullins Andrea Atzeni

Analyst's Verdict:
Stradivarius is a highly likeable colt who showed vast improvement throughout last year and, while a slight drop back in trip in a relatively small field isn't absolutely ideal for his return, he should have enough quality to grind his way to the front before he returns to the top level. Desert Skyline is another stayer to keep on side in 2018 and Max Dynamite has to be respected given his class.

4.05 Equinity Technology Handicap (2) 1¼m56y

Timeform Top Rated:
119 7. THUNDERING BLUE David Menuisier Andrea Atzeni
118+ 5. VALCARTIER John Gosden William Buick
118 9. MASTER CARPENTER Rod Millman Phillip Makin

Analyst's Verdict:
Thundering Blue has some strong handicap form to his name and, having very much caught the eye on return at Epsom recently, he is fancied to prove himself on a competitive mark under Andrea Atzeni. Valcartier also caught the eye on his reappearance and is interesting, ahead of Titus.

4.35 British EBF Frank Whittle Partnership Fillies' Handicap (3) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
109 1. ISABELLA David O'Meara Daniel Tudhope
108 2. BINT ARCANO Julie Camacho Paul Mulrennan
107 5. STARLIGHT ROMANCE Richard Fahey Sebastian Woods (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
Isabella is a well-bred filly who should have plenty more to offer this year given she remains lightly raced. Crafty Madam is another still unexposed, with Bint Arcano and Starlight Romance others capable of getting involved.

5.05 Yorkshire Equine Practice Handicap (3) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
108p 2. ROUNDHAY PARK Nigel Tinkler Lewis Edmunds (3)
105 12. KIMIFIVE Joseph Tuite Hayley Turner
103 11. DANDY'S BEANO Kevin Ryan Nicola Currie (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
Roundhay Park undoubtedly improved again when making a winning return at Ripon recently, the manner in which he drew clear suggesting he can be a major player in leading 3-y-o sprint handicaps. He can defy a rise in the weights, with Kimifive, Koditime and Bow Belles, at likely longer odds, heading the list of dangers.

5.40 7IM Supports Cystic Fibrosis Care Handicap (4) 1m3f188y

Timeform Top Rated:
96p 1. BAGHDAD Mark Johnston William Buick
94p 3. VICTORY CHIME Ralph Beckett Louis Steward
94+ 13. BANKSY'S ART Mick Channon Andrea Atzeni

Analyst's Verdict:
Baghdad was unsuited by the way the race developed on his reappearance, and he remains one to be interested in with further progress on the cards. Nuits St Georges looks sure to make another bold bid with Ryan Moore in the saddle, with Victory Chime and Making Miracles others to consider.
