1.50 Newmarket Academy Godolphin Beacon Project Cornwallis Stakes (Group 3) (1) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
117 1. SOUND AND SILENCE Charlie Appleby William Buick
114 10. PURSUING THE DREAM Jamie Osborne Dougie Costello
114 3. BATTLE OF JERICHO Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore

Analyst's Verdict:
To Wafij was rather disappointing when only sixth behind Sound And Silence at York, but he is likely to be seen in an altogether better light on this stiffer track. Indeed, Roger Varian's charge may still have more to offer and is taken to reverse placings with the Godolphin colt this time. Abel Handy and Pursuing The Dream should both be on the premises, too.

2.25 Godolphin Lifetime Care Oh So Sharp Stakes (Group 3) (1) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
116 5. DARK ROSE ANGEL Simon Crisford Frankie Dettori
114p 8. GAVOTA Roger Charlton James Doyle
112 10. HIKMAA Ed Vaughan Adam Beschizza

Analyst's Verdict:
While this represents a significant step up in class for I Can Fly, she could be something out of the ordinary judged on her most impressive debut display at Dundalk. The Fastnet Rock filly gets the nod ahead of another highly promising type in Gavota, who didn't get the rub of the green when third in the Rockfel here a fortnight ago. Dark Rose Angel is also firmly in the reckoning.

3.00 Godolphin Stud And Stable Staff Awards Challenge Stakes (Group 2) (1) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
138 7. LIMATO Henry Candy Harry Bentley
132 5. DUTCH CONNECTION Charles Hills James Doyle
130 2. MASSAAT Owen Burrows Jim Crowley

Analyst's Verdict:
Limato failed to fire on all cylinders at Goodwood last time, but this classy 5-y-o sets a very good standard judged on his solid placed efforts in the Diamond Jubilee and July Cup prior to that. The drying ground will be in his favour and he should prove a tough nut to crack. Massaat wasn't disgraced in the Prix du Moulin last month and is feared most ahead of Dabyah and Dutch Connection.

3.35 bet365 Fillies' Mile (Group 1) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
130p 3. HAPPILY Aidan O'Brien Ryan Moore
129 6. MAGICAL Aidan O'Brien Donnacha O'Brien
125 12. SEPTEMBER Aidan O'Brien Seamie Heffernan

Analyst's Verdict:
A fourth consecutive victory in this race beckons for Aidan O'Brien, who saddles Happily, Magical and September. Happily got the better of her stablemates in the Moyglare last month and, having subsequently beaten the colts in France and with Ryan Moore keeping the faith, the Galileo filly will prove hard to beat. Laurens shouldn't be underestimated and Magic Lily is an unknown quantity.

4.10 bet365 Old Rowley Cup (Heritage Handicap) (2) 1½m

Timeform Top Rated:
123 12. DUKE OF BRONTE Rod Millman George Wood (3)
122 7. MELTING DEW Sir Michael Stoute Ryan Moore
121 14. WINSTON C Michael Bell Harry Bentley

Analyst's Verdict:
Perhaps if Duke of Bronte represented a more fashionable yard he would be significantly shorter in the betting. Indeed, there was no fluke about his victory in a valuable Ascot handicap last month and a 5 lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from striking again. Winston C makes strong each-way appeal back at this trip, while Humble Ben, Torcello and Intrepidly are others to consider.

4.45 Godolphin Under Starters Orders Maiden Fillies' Stakes (4) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
92p 1. ANGEL'S GLORY Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni
91p 11. VERACIOUS Sir Michael Stoute Ryan Moore
85p 5. FINAL TREAT William Haggas James Doyle

Analyst's Verdict:
It may be best to concentrate on Veracious and Angel's Glory, both of whom shaped well on their respective debuts at Newbury and Haydock. Marginal preference is for the former, a well-bred daughter of Frankel. Final Treat is another promising type to consider, while newcomers Gumriyah and Winter Lightning both need close attention in the betting.

5.20 Join Club Godolphin Pride Stakes (Listed) (1) 1¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
125 1. ARCHITECTURE Hugo Palmer James Doyle
120+ 2. CHAIN OF DAISIES Henry Candy Harry Bentley
118 11. NATAVIA Roger Charlton Ryan Moore

Analyst's Verdict:
Architecture brings Group 1 form to the table courtesy of several fine efforts in defeat last year, including in the English and Irish Oaks. Her reappearance effort at Newbury was encouraging and she should prove a tough nut to crack. Natavia misfired at Epsom when last seen but looked promising prior to that and merits respect. Chain of Daisies, Crimson Rock and UAE Queen are others to note.
