The best of the domestic action can be found at Newmarket on Saturday with a pair of Group 1 contests, the Middle Park and Dewhurst Stakes, forming a key part of the Future Champions' Day card. The Middle Park Stakes looks like a particularly interesting race, as Prix Morny winner Reckless Abandon aims to confirm form with Moohaajim, who could only finish fifth in France. Matt Gardner is one such advocate of Moohaajim, and he has previewed the best of Newmarket's card. You can read it HERE.
It shouldn't be forgotten that the ultra-competitive Cesarewitch also takes place at Newmarket and a maximum field of 34 are declared to go to post. Montaser was originally first reserve, but he has just managed to sneak into the contest and is one of the most interesting contenders. Timeform have looked at the race and offer a runner-by-runner guide to the fiendishly difficult handicap.
