Timeform pick out their three best bets from Goodwood on Sunday...
"...did well to finish second at Ffos Las last month, particularly given the fact he missed the break..."
Timeform on Smokey Lane
SIR BUSKER has improved with each outing to date, making it third time lucky at Newbury last month and, with further improvement a distinct possibility, he can concede weight all round and follow up. Cookupastorm and Miss Elsa represent the chief threats on form, though market support for newcomer Milly Monroe would need to be viewed positively.
SMOKEY LANE was fitter for his return and did well to finish second at Ffos Las last month, particularly given the fact he missed the break. Clearly operating on a handy mark, he gets the narrow vote to put it all together in first-time cheekpieces and can come out on top. Recent Haydock scorer Dark Power is an obvious threat, while Glenamoy Lad isn't one to be writing off either.
DOURADO was unlucky not to finish closer at Epsom last month (met trouble in-running from two furlongs out) and looks capable of winning from this sort of mark on that evidence, with his second over seven furlongs here in May another reason to be postive about him. Pour La Victoire, Sing Out Loud and Hombre Casado make up the shortlist.
