Timeform on Escapability
Bottom Bay - 14:40 Windsor
Bottom Bay hails from an excellent family - his dam is an unraced sister to Oaks winner Sariska - and he showed plenty to work with when not beaten far on debut at Leicester. This juvenile is bred more for speed than stamina, so is expected to relish the step up in trip to an extended 1m, while some give in the ground ought not to be an issue given how well the family have handled testing conditions. There are some interesting types in opposition but Bottom Bay can put his experience to good use.
Oak Vintage - 15:50 Stratford
Oak Vintage hasn't always convinced with his jumping and is by no means sure to stay this far on his first start since April so looks worth opposing. Those taking him on can also point to his inconsistent record and the fact he signed off last season with a poor effort. He looks to have plenty to prove.
Escapability - 15:40 Windsor
£67.50 - Alan King's profit to a £1 level stake with horses running after a break
Alan King is clearly well able to ready one, with his runners showing a £67.50 profit to a £1 level stake on their return from an absence. Escapability has not been seen since finishing a creditable third at Windsor in April, but that is not a worry based on his trainer's excellent record. He shaped on that occasion as if there are races to be won off a mark of 77, he has already proved himself on soft ground and Oisin Murphy is a positive jockey booking.
