Timeform on Pretty Miss Mahler
The Nick Alexander-trained ALWAYS TIPSY remains well treated on the pick of his hurdles form (went close off a BHA mark of 119), and is taken to follow up his C&D success last month. Romulus du Donjon belted three out when still within striking distance of the winner when last seen at Carlisle and he seems sure to make his mark in this sphere sooner rather than later, with Black Jack Rover another capable of getting involved.
Recent Sedgefield runner-up PRETTY MISS MAHLER remains with potential in this sphere and could be the way to go back up in trip (last win came over 25f). Cobajayisland would have finished closer without late mistakes at Southwell and merits consideration. A return to form by Scotswell, a three-time C&D winner, wouldn't surprise.
Course winner CHAIN OF BEACONS hshould be suited by the decent ground, had a good debut season for this yard last term and remains on an attractive mark in a race which promises to be run to suit. Oak Vintage scored from that one at Sedgefield last time and despite a 9 lb rise is feared most ahead of Sudski Star.
